BJH ENGLISH!

Greetings! Thanks for dropping by my web pages. I hope you’ll find what you need to know about Bennington Junior High English classes, as well as the seventh grade Current Events gang.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE DAILY UPDATES ABOUT ASSIGNMENTS, PLEASE EMAIL ME THROUGH POWER SCHOOL AND GIVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO WHICH I CAN SEND THE INFORMATION.

Please encourage your children to read and talk to you about what they read. It’s the only way we can continue to do well on those tests. Much more important, it’s the best way to learn. Readers are better informed, more open-minded, and better prepared for life than students who don’t read.

A scene from the Manitou Mountain Incline. Technically, it's trespassing to hike this trail, but hundreds of people do it every day. It's about a mile long, but goes straight up the mountain, rising over 2,000 feet in that one mile, ending up at nearly 8,600 feet. The steepest part is a 68% incline. The ties are from an old scenic railway.

I climbed it in July 2009 with my cousins Shyanne and Cameron Schmalz.
